Waverley Heart Clinic was recently established (2010) by Dr Brian Zakhem to provide expert diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiac disease in Melbourne. From prevention to diagnosis, through treatment and rehabilitation, our cardiologists have vast experience in the most challenging forms of coronary artery disease and other diseases.

We are committed to providing our patients with the best individual and the highest quality of heart care in Melbourne. We are duty bound to advise our patients of any test or treatment that will be of most benefit to them, and believe we must partner with our patients in their recovery.

We provide non-invasive as well as invasive diagnostic procedures. Non-invasive cardiology services include electrocardiography (ECGs) echocardiography, exercise stress tests and ambulatory ECG monitoring (Holter Monitors). Invasive cardiology services include cardiac catheterizations, coronary angiography, balloon and stent angioplasty, and anti-platelet therapy.

Invasive cardiac interventions for private patients are provided at Epworth Hospital in Richmond and Box Hill, as well as Knox Private Hospital.
